Elli Choi

Violinist

Elli Choi : Born on September 4, 2001 of American / Korean origin  This 7 year old violin prodigy has utterly stunned her audience in USA, Europe & Asia. She started playing the violin at the early age of 3 and has performed with the Philadelphia Orchestra at the Mann Center for the Performing Arts’ “International String Music Festival” at the age of 5.After her performance ended, Choi garnered great praise from the world’s renowned violinist Itzhak Perlman and cello virtuoso Yo-yo Ma.

 

She started her violin performance training back in July of 2005. With less than 1 year of training under her belt, Elli has already performed in 8 concerts. 

In June 2008, she was one of the 15 soloists chosen from a pool of 20,000 contestants at the 14th Annual International Suzuki Conference in Torino, Italy to receive the highest honors. For this feat she was hailed a true genius of the art.

Elli is on full scholarship at the Juilliard School in New York. At age 7 she was one of the youngest students ever admitted to the Juilliard School, one of the world's most prestigious music conservatories.


Sarina Zhang

Cellist & Pianist

 Sarina started piano lessons at age of 5 ½ and cello lessons at 7. She  has performed in master classes with many famous musicians. At age 8, Sarina was featured on the national radio program “From the Top” as a pianist, and featured again 3 years later as a cellist. She is the winner of several awards and competitions.

 

From 2004 to 2007, Sarina was the youngest member and assistant principal cellist in the San Diego Civic Youth Orchestra Symphony As a soloists Sarina she has performed in numerous concerts for Cello and Piano with famous Orchestras and conductors . She was featured on PBS’ "From the Top, Live from Carnegie Hall" TV series in 2007.

 

She  is currently enrolled in the pre-college division at Juilliard School studying piano with Yoheved Kaplinsky, cello with Richard Aaron, and composition with Manuel Sosa.

Riyad Nicolas was born in Aleppo , Syria in 1989 and he is now  is continuing his studies in the Royal Academy of Music in London with Prof.Sulamita Aronovsky.Riyad won numerous international prizes including won the Best Piano Student Prize of the Syrian Arab Republic for two consecutive years(1998-1999),the 1st Syria National Piano Competition 2004,The Educational Award Prize in the London International Piano competition 2005,2nd Prize in the Seiler International Piano Competition (Greece 2006),1st Prize in the Francaix International Piano Competition (Paris 2008) and a major prize in Citut de Carlet International Piano Competition (Spain 2009).Riyad gave several Concerto performances with orchestras such as the Chamber Orchestra in Aleppo, the Philharmonic Syrian orchestra and The Young Musicians Symphony Orchestra in London.
