EYSO NATIONAL CONSERVATORY
The Survival of Emirates Youth Symphony Orchestra depends on the participation of local UAE nationals in its members.
EYSO National Conservator was established in 2009 to attract young UAE national and expatriates to keep Feeding new members and replace graduates or alumni members who left Dubai .
REGULATIONS
UAE National Conservatory is governed by the accreditation program set by the Premiere Music College of Prague and managed under their supervision and guidance. All tutors must be a performing and holding a university degree in music, approved by our principals in Prague. Therefore:
Tutoring at EYSO UAE National Conservatory is a serious effort requiring serious commitment from students.
- All students will be required to give three End of Term Concerts (10 points each), which are part of the Year End Examination (60 Points). The 1st & 2nd end of term concert will be videotaped and sent to headquarter in Prague to set the marks. The 3rd end of term concert and end of the year examination (Theory & Instruments) will be held under the supervision of a representative of the Premiere Music College of Prague and in accordance with the rules and regulations governing their accreditation program.
- EYSO program certification for each grade requires a minimum of full 3 term of tutoring with at least two lessons per week.
- In order not to waist time and financial resources, students whose performance or attendance is less than expected or who lack the proficiency will be advised to discontinue lessons at the end of the term.
- All students joining EYSO Music Conservatory must agree to perform with the EYSO orchestra as regular member and as a soloist. As such, students may not abstain from any concert and annual festivals.
Our Focus is:
- True academic study of music for Young UAE Nationality and expatriates.
- To develop the cultural and artistic talents of youngsters in Dubai.
- To divert children’s attention from corruption and useless activities.
- Fill children's free time with cultural and artistic activities.
- Demonstrate and teach children how they can contribute to group effort.
- Make children proud of their contribution to humanitarian efforts.
- To increase UAE nationals participation in the orchestra in order to reduce membership turnover due to expatriate departure.
- The final Objective is to have a National Orchestra like in most Developed Countries.
